On July 1, 2011, I was named the Executive Director of the OU Institute for Quality Communities. The Institute is dedicated to enhancing the quality of communities through improvements in the built environment. During my time as Executive Director we developed a number of new courses and programs for the Institute, began overseeing the undergraduate environmental design degree program, and kicked-off the biennial conference with the 2013 IQC Placemaking Conference.

Led multi-disciplinary team in producing an extensive proposal for 80-acre tract in Denver. Proposal included detailed master plan, phasing scheme, regional and neighborhood analysis, and development pro-forma. The final round included additional refinements and a presentation to judging panel. Our team was selected as the winner of the $50,000 first prize out of 91 teams competing.
